So we may have an obsession with lavender…and chocolate. So why not have them together? I remember when I was pregnant with Elise and was obsessed with the idea of lavender cupcakes. I couldn’t find a bakery near by that made them so I did research and made them myself! My husband helped me make the the mixture and cream cheese frosting (my first time ever making homemade frosting!) and to my surprise, the guest responded well to it! Ever since then, I’ve loved eating lavender treats and drinks! With Fall and Winter coming, the lavender in my garden is drying out so I need to harvest it and make some things with it. I figured this would be a great start! Before using lavender, make sure it is a culinary one. You can easily purchase some online or go to a local herb store (usually a metaphysical store). The brand of white chocolate is your choice but we love Ghirardelli for the richness! To finish it off, we like to add cute shaped marshmallows and a sprinkle of lavender on top! This recipe can also be done with dried roses!
