This is our last post for the March Mentality: A D.O.S.E of Happiness Series! We have learned about 4 important hormones/neurotransmitters that can affect our bodies and brain function. Each has negative side effects as well as the ability to improve our mindset and make us feel happier. We listed activities and foods (also herbs and supplements) that can help balance these chemicals and improve your overall health.
Of course we are not doctors or physicians and advise that you meet with your doctor first but most of these activities are relatively safe and the foods are natural. You want to make sure that these food and activities do not do any harm physically for pre-existing conditions and also that these foods/herbs/supplements can be paired with your current medications and diet (like allergies).
